United Kingdom, 6th Jan 2026 — Award-winning British actor Rik Barnett has been cast in the lead role of Balthazar in the upcoming horror feature The Witch of Hellwood House. The film is helmed by acclaimed genre filmmaker Charlie Steeds and produced by Dark Temple Motion Pictures, with principal photography now underway across atmospheric locations throughout the United Kingdom.

Barnett, whose previous film work earned him the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Ibiza International Film Festival, continues to build a strong reputation in independent cinema. Internationally trained, his career spans film, theatre, and literature. His stage play Bosie was published last year by Polari Plays, further establishing his creative range. In The Witch of Hellwood House, Barnett is set to bring a commanding intensity and psychological depth to the role of Balthazar.
