The motion for the impeachment of Han is set to be voted on in the next 24 to 72 hours. A vote of at least 151 out of 300 members of parliament is needed to pass the motion. If Han is impeached, Finance Minister Choi Sang-mock would become the next acting president. The possible change in leadership gives another twist to the already volatile political atmosphere.
